Westie Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Deaf, Abused/Neglected

DOGWORLD ADOPTS LOCALLY TO BIRMINGHAM AND MONTGOMERY ALABAMA ONLY. NO OUT-OF-STATE ADOPTIONS ACCEPTED. Ceasar is older and is losing his hearing and sight, but is still a loving boy. Because of his disabilities, his first reaction if he is startled is to bite what is near him. He is also slightly food aggressive. But if you are experienced in handling his disabilities, he can be very loving. He would probably do best in a single dog home, or maybe just one other dog in the home. I would not recommend an atmosphere with small children.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Westie in Alabama
Westie Dogs can make good pets in Alabama if they match your IifestyIe. The West Highland White Terrier, or Westie, is a spirited little white dog. Westies are very sociable, good with children, and can be socialized to get along with other pets. Male Westies may not get along well with other males, and Westies may chase cats. This breed can live in an apartment if it gets enough exercise.

lnteresting Westie Trivia Low-Cost Alabama Spay & Neuter Clinics
Westies are simply Cairns bred for their white coats. The white coat of a Westie helps hunters tell the difference between the dogs and their quarry. Westies originated through an accident of genetics when a Cairn delivered white puppies in its litter.
