Westie    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Meet Scrappy. Scrappy is a little hard of hearing but he hears, and listens. He just does not hear perfect. He has dry eye and does not fuss when you put his ointment in. He is mildly anemic, and takes vitamins for that. He so very loving!!! Per the vet he is 10-12... Former owner said that he was told Scrappy was 12. He sees good in the daytime, is a little nervous at night without a light. He is also very comfortable on leash. I take him out without his leash during the day with his foster fursister and he listens well!!! I take him out at night with no leash, I just use a light so he can see... He does not act 12. When I get ... (Read More)home from work he dancesoin his back legs for me to pet him. He is very loving, and likes to curl up with you. He has some issues jumping up into the chair or on the couch, but he loves to be up there to live on you. Scrappy is a happy boy who's looking for his new forever home. (Less)

Westie    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults

Maddie is a sweet, healthy Westie girl. She is somewhere between 8-11, vets can't agree. She's a petite, happy girl who loves to sit by you, play with the other dogs in the family and just hang out with her foster family. Maddy is recovering from some skin issues probably caused by fleas and she is currently dealing with an ear infection but on the mend. Maddie is looking for her forever home and a new best friend.

Rescue Me ID: 15-06-23-00221Charlei (male)

Westie Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hi! My name is Charlei and I am looking for my forever home. Yes, I know my name is spelled different, but that just shows how special I am. I am just a young puppy of 14 months and I am a terrier mixed with what my foster mom says maybe some Samoyed or American Eskimo dog. I am a very good dog who loves kids and other dogs. I really love the backyard and playing with my foster family's dogs. It is so much fun to run and play chase in the yard. I am very active and I love my squeaky balls. I am up to date with my shots and my vet gave me the all clear to look for my new family. I am good on a leash and I even learned how to use a doggie ... (Read More)door. I am young though and I do still need some training. I am trying really hard to learn to potty outside and whatever else you would like me to know. If you will give me the time and patience and be willing to continue my training, I promise to continue to try hard to learn. I just want to make you happy. From the rescue: Charlei is a very sweet young dog with personality plus. He does well with everyone though we don't know how he is around cats. Charlei is very active and playful. He needs a home with a fenced yard and would be best having another dog to play with His ideal home would have someone around much of the time. He does seem to have some separation anxiety issues. That is another thing that patience and training can help. Please know that he do shed so don't confuse him with the less allergy causing westies. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-05-11-00382Jack (male)

Westie    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Adult Women Only
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Jack has been a wonderful dog, he listens well, loves to play and loves attention. Before I rescued my 3 other dogs (all Westies) Jack was so well behaved. Once I started bringing other dogs into the house, he became jealous and aggressive towards them because he did not receive all of the attention. He would be a great companion for an a single woman or an elderly woman who has no other pets. I love this dog, but I have to think of my other dogs as well. I hope you give Jack a chance!
