Rescue Me ID: 14-10-14-00203Churchill (male)

Westie Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Cats
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Meet Churchill. He is a two year old male Maltese/ West Highland Terrier mix who weighs 13 pounds. Churchill arrived at a shelter as a stray and his owner never came looking for him. He is friendly, outgoing, snuggly, happy, playful and protective of family and home. He is house trained and has good obedience skills. Churchill is an active little dog. His favorite activities include- playing with toys, playing fetch and riding in cars. He is happy to follow his favorite people around all day and walks very nicely on the leash. He also likes long walks and spending time hanging around his yard. Churchill loves to play fetch and tug of war. He ... (Read More)doesn't bark a lot unless strangers come to house. Likes to follow me around and sit next to or on my lap when he's not playing. If he isn't near -one quick call of his name brings him running. Churchill needs to go to a home with no people under the age of 12 years old and no cats. He must be fed in his crate and be crated when his companions are eating. Churchill seems to be fine with other confident dogs. His adoption donation is of the adopter's choice. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm and fecal checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
