He is waiting for you and he hopes he will be in your lap by Christmas!! Do you enjoy the peace and quiet of a home in a rural setting but missing the happiness and excitement that comes with having the right dog? If so, please read on because there is dog needing you!!! Meet Danny. He is a one to two year old very cute show ball with character. Danny loves to play. Danny loves car rides and human laps and walks. Danny loves hanging outside resting in the sun. And Danny is ornery which makes him even more endearing but also in need of the right human companion. So let's get to it. Danny weighs about 25 lbs. We think he might be a mix ... (Read More)between a westie, a maltese, a bichon frise and a sheep dog. Your guess is good as ours. The best part, with those beautiful locks is he doesn't shed!!! Danny walks well on leash until he sees another dog. He gets overstimulated pulling and barking to get to the other dog. So we are looking for an experienced dog guardian that lives in a rural area(not suburbs but rural) where regular exposure to other dogs is rare. He loves meeting new people but in the right settings'|that generally does not include when they come to his home unannounced as the territorial terrier reaction lifts its head or when unexpectedly approached during his walks. As said Danny Loves pats and laps but you have to take it slow initially. He needs to know you can be trusted. Once he knows the person is friend and not foe, he is all wiggles and affection. There in is another reason why we are looking for an experienced terrier guardian. That said, Danny is good with dogs once he gets to know them. And he is currently in foster w/ a female pit bull he adores. So with a slow introduction, Danny could live with another mellow dog-preferably female. Danny enjoys a quiet setting. So we are looking for an adult only household that would enjoy playing with Danny on a regular basis and would enjoy daily walks and daily affection. A small fence-in yard with some sun is a plus'|he loves hanging out on his own in the sun. He is housetrained, non-destructive, happy to hang with you while you work but he is in need of some basic training/manners. And he is so in need of a person he can finally bond with forever. He is a joy to be with and his foster mom says he is the right combinations of fun and relaxation. We ask for Serious inquires Only by applicants that fit his needs. If you think you and Danny might make the perfect match, He is waiting for you! (Less)
