Rescue Me ID: 14-12-14-00185Henry (male)

Westie Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Henry was a stray at the local kill shelter. We believe he is a wire haired terrier and lab mix. He is approx 50lbs. When his time was up one of the volunteers took him in to foster through the organization that she belongs to. Henry is housebroken, crate rained and good with other dogs and cats. He doesn't have many manners so he could benefit from obedience training. Henry knows to sit for treats and is a very smart dog. He loves to play. He jumps up when he gets excited so no small children in the home. A fenced in yard would be wonderful for Henry. If you are interested please email his foster mom at sunshine2107@ymail.com

Westie Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Last year we came across a brown matted creature running loose in mid December in the freezing cold. It took us four days to finally gain his trust and catch it. Turns out he was a dog, a cute little muddy, cold, starved, matted up dog. We cleaned him up and looked high and low for his owners with no luck. Here almost a year later, several home vet visits, and groomings to boot is a lovely little, sweet boy we have named Skeeter looking for a new home! Here is more info, the vet believes he is between 3-5 years old. He is a WHITE Westie Schnauzer mix. About 15lbs. A healthy weight and his bald patches and matts are all gone. He is %100 ... (Read More)better, house and crate trained, great with other pets. An all over great dog! We unfortunately cannot keep him due to having an already rambunctious toddler and one more on the way. Therefore we are looking for a calm, quiet home with no young children. He is incredibly smart and would do best in a retired or calmer household. Due to the costs of all of his prior care, and to ensure a safe home we are asking an adoption fee of $225. We have invested a lot more, including having him neutered, but we understand people are on a budget. Please email me for any additional information and more pictures. I need information about your household and where he will be living. After all he is been through i would love to find him a permanent loving home. (Less)
