     I have used the Rescue Me! site for customers that needed to rehome their companions because their lives had changed unexpectedly. This has been an invaluable and immediate resource. I helped the owners of two pure breed dogs that needed to be removed from the home quickly, and both received overwhelming responses and were placed within days of posting. I volunteer for the Humane Society, and am grateful for other adoption nonprofits, but when you can place a dog directly to a good home it is the best option.      I am very thankful for Rescue Me! Within hours of posting Jazzie I received several inquiries. I am happy to say that Jazzie now has a younger brother (Snowy, who is also a Westie) and a loving family to love and care for him. His new home is not far, and I will stay in touch with his new family to see how he is doing. I am comforted knowing that he will be in a loving home, and now has a brother to hang out with each day. I definitely recommend Rescue Me to anyone who for whatever reason is unable to keep their pet, and is looking for a home where they will know that he/she is truly loved.      Since my job requirements have changed and I travel every week, I had to find Bella a new home where she could get the love and attention she needs. Within 24 hours of posting her, after interviewing 7-10 prospective families, I have found the perfect family. Bella loves children and outdoors and she will have both with her new family.      I thank Rescue Me very much for assisting me in finding a loving home for Misty. Misty is a 11 year old Westie in very good health. Even though I did not post a picture I received about 10 inquires in about two days and selected a home a week later. I selected three homes to visit and was impressed by the care she would received in all three locations. I selected a family that made her feel right at home the most and had lost a 18 year old Westie last summer.

     Our Northwood Veterinary Hospital met Bo, an 8 yr old male Westie, in June of 2012. We knew he was sweet, loving, and may need a home in the future. Sure enough, he came to us again in late September. We took ownership of Bo and began our quest in finding him a new home. I'm not sure how I stumbled on the Rescue Me! website but I am sure glad I did. Within hours of posting Bo on the site, the phone calls and emails started coming in. Two families certainly stood out as great possibilities and were relatively close to Springfield, Ohio. The first family who was able to meet Bo adopted him Saturday October 15th. They too have an 8 yr old female Westie named Orly. Bo and Orly did a meet and greet for an hour and they decided they wanted to take Bo to his new home in Cincinnati, Ohio. Seems Bo is settling in very well, has been to a pumpkin patch, the dog park, and has already had his picture taken numerous times! I am unable to post a picture with this success story, but again, thank you for the opportunity you provide people with this rescue site. It is awesome! Vicie

     I placed my little Westie, Angus, on this site and he was immediately loved by everyone who saw him. A lovely couple in Michigan adopted Angus and he is off to his new home. Thank you Susan and Don!

     The success story is that we are keeping him. We had a family that wanted him but found that he wasn't the right dog for them. We have worked harder to get the dog and kitten relationship to work. It took 3 months but we have almost harmony. In that time the kitten has grown and can cohabitate with Jesse. Jesse is on strong meds for his skin issues but he's coming along. Everything worked out for the best and we have peace and a great dog and kitten. Thank you for your site at the time my relationship with my daughter was strained because she was worried about Jesse harming the kitten. So along with saving animals you save relationships too.

     Thank you for wanting to adopt Benny. I had 3 inquiries within hours and have selected a new home/owner for Benny Boy.      I put Louie on your site last night and received an email within an hour. Today I had four more inquiries, and all of them were serious. This afternoon Louie went home with Jim and Sue (the first couple that contacted me). Jim's retired and looking for a play mate to share yard work with. I think it will be an excellent fit, and although I miss Louie terribly, I think he is in an environment that best suits his needs. I was very pleased with the service, and I will be sending a donation to this wonderful organization.

     This is a bitter-sweet occasion for my family. We will miss Kattie dearly, however, Kattie found a good home and true love. Yes, our 12 year old Westie found a new home with a kind and compassionate woman named Jackie and a companion, a male dog (another Westie) named Zerus. Today, St. Patrick's Day, we met Jackie in Columbus and gave Kattie to her. After Kattie met Zerus, and after they were found to be very compatible, Jackie took them to a doggie park near her home. She send us a picture. The two dogs looked very cute and happy together. I would like to thank Jackie for giving Kattie a good new home and a new companion that she can grow old with! Regards, Tina

     Yes we did find someone to adopt coconut. A very nice family with children, makes us very happy. Although it was very hard to see her go. I could not believe the response we got on coconut. Their are a lot of good people out there and a few, well I wont say. But thanks to rescue me we found a good home for coconut. Thank you again.

     Molly was adopted on Saturday. I certainly did not know where to turn trying to re-home my Westie. I was never planning this action, but due to my family situation, it was the only fair thing to do. The thought of Molly living in a crate most of the time was nothing short of cruelty. The responses I received were amazing. Most were truly compassionate people....some were just curious. I took some time to research/talk to the family I finally picked. Thanks so much for your site.
